The E2C UV curing system with RHINO electronic power supply takes curing of inks and coatings to new levels of productivity and print run security. The E2C-RHINO systems use substantially less energy. They enable colour process printing at full production speed with as little power as 90 W/cm (230W/inch).
E2C UV curing systems are safe for the widest range of heat-sensitive materials with no heat transfer to the machine or substrate at stand-by through the use of actively air cooled shutter technology.

ONE RHINO Power SupplyArcLED allows use of a conventional UV mercury arc lamp or LED (light emitting diode) array on the same print unit. Both arc and LED cassettes are compatible with the same power supply and fit in the same housing for ease of change.
The RHINO control enables any combination of curing technologies to be used on the same press.
Future proof UV technology
GEW arc and LED systems can both be upgraded in the field to the hybrid solution or be supplied in this configuration from new.
ArcLED enables hybrid, interchangeable UV curing on every print station, allowing the printer to use a combination of arc and LED technology seamlessly on the same press and to switch between arc and LED curing at will to suit process requirements and ink formulation.

E4C; Water Cooled
Read MoreE4C offers the highest power available from the GEW range, to support the most demanding UV curing applications and the fastest printing speeds. It performs to the harshest cure test procedures and is suitable for Low Migration applications.
E4C has optically tuned reflectors to maximise curing power and operates quietly, with minimal air requirements. An integrated flow switch ensures water flow at all times, and the E4C’s water-cooled reflectors support the highest UV power whilst limiting heat transfer to the substrate, making it safe for a broad range of heat-sensitive materials.
It is designed to operate with the lowest level of maintenance and is engineered for fast, easy lamp changes. All replaceable components are plug-and-play, and the reflectors can be cleaned and fully replaced without breaking the water seals. Furthermore, the reflector mechanisms and seals are tested to millions of operations to ensure reliability.
E4C is also LED-ready: its hybrid lamp casing can house either LED, E2C or E4C arc lamp cassettes. It has a compact profile to fit the widest range of machines and is retrofittable on all E2C installations.

The NUVA2 UV curing system is the most effective UV technology for colour UV inkjet printing, as well as for high-speed coding, marking and serialisation. NUVA2 are fully air-cooled UV curing systems. They are available in widths of up to 250cm (100in).
