Fife SE-32 High Temperature Fiber Optic Sensor
Read MoreThe SE-32 Fiber-Optic Sensor is specifically designed for use in high-temperature environments. By utilizing the latest in fiber-optic technology, this sensor can deliver accurate performance in demanding applications such as a hot glue nozzle positioning, high-temperature webs, and coatings.
The SE-32 has a control range of 19 mm (0.75 inch) and a standard sensing gap of 83 mm (3.25 inches). In pairs, the sensor can be used to center guide the web. Singularly, it can be used to guide or chase the edge of the web.

Fife SE-42 Infrared Light Sensor
Read MoreThe SE-42 Sensor uses modulate infrared light. It’s light weight, small size and insensitivity to ambient light make it ideal for most web guiding applications
The SE – 42 Infrared Sensor measures the lateral position of the guided material photoelectrically. The control range (proportional band) is 17 mm, allowing
significant guide point adjustment. The SE – 42 is often used in pairs for center guiding when web width variations are limited. The SE – 42 sensor can be used
to guide either opaque or transparent materials.Fife offers a wide variety of sensor mountings and
positioning assemblies for use with the SE – 42 infrared sensor.
Depending on the application, standard or custom designed mounting
brackets can be provided to ensure quick and easy installations. The SE – 42 can be used with any of our applicable guiding systems or as a retrofit / upgrade for
existing systems. The SE – 42 can be connected to all available Fife web guide controllers

Fife D-MAX Operator Interface
Read MoreThe D-MAX system offers different Operator Interfaces to better fit the requirements of each application.
Ideal for the most complex, networked applications, the D-MAX Network Operator Interface (OI-N) displays text, guiding nomenclature, and web guide graphics on a large Graphic LCD and offers the possibility to control up to 10 independent control loops out of a single operator interface.
A lighter version, the basic Operator Interface (OI-B) is suitable for simpler applications and communicates directly to a D-MAX controller single or dual-drive configuration with the advantage of not requiring a separate 24V power supply line being powered over the Ethernet connection (POE).
NETWORK OPERATOR INTERFACE (OI-N)
• Ability to interface with multiple guide controllers
• Configured with a 5-port Ethernet switch for guide networking and/or communication uplink to additional OI-N’ s
• Industry standard network card for communication with machine PLCs and PCs with field protocols such as Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ProfiBus and many others, for easy integration with the machine PLC or PC.
• CompactCom port for communication with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) -
