Hoist Based Roll Handling – Lift And Turn

The lift and turn roll handlers are available in a variety of models, including manual, pneumatic, and electric, offering the ability to lift and turn a roll or rolled materials safely and easily.

Increasing operator safety is very important to us and the Schlumpf lift and turn roll handlers were designed with that in mind. All of our lift and turners include safety features to lock the roll in the horizontal or vertical orientation and they use positive gripping to secure the roll.

Our hoist based roll handling lift and turners are typically used for:

  • Lifting and rotating rolls between the horizontal and vertical positions by the core.
  • Unloading or loading rolls onto a machine spindle
  • Transferring rolls from a machine to a Portable Roll Cart
