The DAC-005 Diode Array Camera Sensor is the ideal solution for a wide range of difficult to sense materials from nonwovens to steel. The camera utilizes a total of 7,725 pixels and it can split the field of view into 31 sub-areas, creating virtual sensors. Each virtual sensor can detect one edge out of 255 total.
The small housing, internal light source and different C-mount lenses allow an installation under tight field conditions. Backward compatible with older F-mount lenses as an option. Its digital sensing offers high resistance to contamination, dust particles, oil, vapors, and water.
This sensor also has the ability to connect via Analog or Digital with fieldbus interfaces and runs in a variety of applications ranging from fixed sensor rewinding, center edge, and line guiding to web width measurement with an accuracy up to 0.02%. The DAC-005 is easily set up with D-MAX Operator Interface OI-N or Mini Operator Interface OI-S.
The Tidland Cyclone™ Series high speed centering shafts increase throughput by eliminating roll loping and enabling web handling operations to run smoothly at higher speeds. The external
element, two-stage pneumatic design holds the core concentric to the body, reducing machine vibration and wear.

Mark I Roll Saver Adapters
These adapters are available in three sizes and may be used in combination with the Mark I Roll Saver to restore 101.6 mm (4 inch), 127 mm (5 inch), 152.4 mm (6 inch) and 171.5 mm (6 3/4 inch) crushed cores.
Mark I Roll Saver Sledge Weight
The Sledge Weight is a useful tool for driving the Mark I Roll Saver into difficult cores. It’s better, simpler, and safer than any type of sledgehammer 9 kg (20 lb) weight.

This narrow web shaft’s three-leaf design minimizes thin wall core deformation and improves roll quality. For rewinds, special centering ribs in-between expanding leaves position cores closer to the center of rotation, resulting in better-quality finished rolls.
