The DAC-005 Diode Array Camera Sensor is the ideal solution for a wide range of difficult to sense materials from nonwovens to steel. The camera utilizes a total of 7,725 pixels and it can split the field of view into 31 sub-areas, creating virtual sensors. Each virtual sensor can detect one edge out of 255 total.
The small housing, internal light source and different C-mount lenses allow an installation under tight field conditions. Backward compatible with older F-mount lenses as an option. Its digital sensing offers high resistance to contamination, dust particles, oil, vapors, and water.
This sensor also has the ability to connect via Analog or Digital with fieldbus interfaces and runs in a variety of applications ranging from fixed sensor rewinding, center edge, and line guiding to web width measurement with an accuracy up to 0.02%. The DAC-005 is easily set up with D-MAX Operator Interface OI-N or Mini Operator Interface OI-S.
The Ultra-Lightweight GX Air Shaft is made with lightweight, high-strength aluminum and an innovative 2-piece expanding element. It delivers unmatched performance in many unwind and rewind applications. Operators’ backs will be saved as this shaft is one of the leading ergonomic solutions for converting applications and has helped many converters reduce or eliminate workers’ compensation claims due to overexertion and heavy lifting.
GX shafts are available to suit a large variety of core sizes and are part of Tidland’s complete line of ergonomic solutions for converters, which includes the ever-popular Force5 Air Chuck and Ultrashaft Carbon Fiber Air Shaft.
The NimCor Roll Restorer quickly turns seemingly unusable stock back into profitable inventory by helping to salvage virtually any roll with a crushed or damaged core. The Roll Restorer can also be used to install shafts while restoring damaged rolls.
Choose from Two Models:
Standard Model: 50.8 mm to 152.4 mm Core ID
Heavy Duty Model: 50.8 mm to 304.8 mm Core ID (forklift mountable)
Years of successful roll control in the field testify to the excellent performance of the Leaf Shaft. Designed for a wide range of converting applications, these shafts are best for the elimination of thin wall core deformation. The 360º radial expanding grip along the entire leaf face delivers more winding surface and allows for the winding of single or multiple rolls, with or without cores.
With smooth, polished external leaves, these shafts are particularly suited for delicate materials. Leaf Shafts are built tough, with bodies constructed of standard steel, alloy steel or aluminum, and internal tubes made of durable, hard-wearing rubber. Simple modular construction and standardized components mean quick off-the-shelf spares service and easy in-plant maintenance when necessary.
Series 650 Leaf Shaft – designed for light to medium-duty in 2 inch to 6 inch (50.8 mm to 152.4 mm) ID cores, as well as in coreless operations. The versatility of this shaft has made it the most popular and widely used leaf shaft on the market today.
Series 750 Leaf Shaft – designed for heavy-duty in 7 inch to 24 inch (177.8 mm to 609.6 mm) ID cores, as well as in coreless operations. The largest diameter leaf shaft available, this shaft is excellent for tougher jobs such as winding metal and foil strips. It can also be used as a reel spool for Paper reels and large paper machines
